Wir kennen diesen Effekt \u2013 die Nachfrage nach Information und Bildungsarbeit \u2013 seit vielen Jahren aus der SAP-Community.<\/p>\n

Vor wenigen Wochen hat der Anwenderverein DSAG diese Grundstimmung wieder einmal best\u00e4tigt:<\/p>

Die verhaltene Annahme und die niedrige Adaptionsrate von SAP-Innovationen sind auch der fehlenden Kommunikation und Bildungsarbeit aus Walldorf geschuldet. Es mangelt schlicht an Wissen \u00fcber Hana und S\/4.<\/p>\n

F\u00fcr viele SAP-Bestandskunden sind die neuen SAP-Produkte ein Buch mit sieben Siegeln. DSAG e. V. bem\u00fcht sich intensiv, das Wissensdefizit zu lindern. Ebenso versucht das E-3 Magazin mit kontinuierlicher Berichterstattung parallel zu den singul\u00e4ren Veranstaltungen und Workshops den Informationsstrom nicht versiegen zu lassen.<\/p>\n

Unterst\u00fctzt werden wir von zahlreichen Bestandskunden, Partnern und Analysten \u2013 nur SAP verharrt in Unt\u00e4tigkeit. Es gibt keine Briefings f\u00fcr uns in Barcelona (TechEd) oder Orlando (Sapphire).<\/p>\n

Freie Journalisten werden weitgehend ignoriert, wenn es einmal darum geht, einen Text f\u00fcr Hana oder S\/4 zu schreiben.<\/p>\n

Es w\u00e4re aber falsch anzunehmen, dass SAP keine \u201eBildungsarbeit\u201c macht. Anfang Februar fand an der New York Stock Exchange ein Briefing f\u00fcr Finanzanalysten statt.<\/p>\n

Er\u00f6ffnet wurde die Vortragsserie durch SAP-Chef Bill McDermott, es folgte
\nnicht (!) Finanzvorstand Luka Mucic, sondern Technikvorstand Bernd Leukert.<\/p>\n

Was haben die Finanzanalysten hinsichtlich Machine\/Deep Learning, IoT, Fiori und HCP verstanden?<\/p>\n

SAP darf stolz auf die eigenen Innovationen sein, aber Bildungsarbeit, Aufkl\u00e4rung, Distribution von Wissen und Information \u2013 das ist etwas anderes.<\/p>\n

SAP-Partner, Analysten und altruistische Million\u00e4re haben die Funktion und den Wert von Journalismus, Wissensvermittlung und Bildungsarbeit verstanden. SAP selbst scheint noch in einem Steinzeitkonzept von Pressearbeit zu verharren:<\/p>\n

Der Konzern definiert, wer was wann wissen darf. Als Pressemitteilungen noch per Faxger\u00e4t an die Redaktionen verschickt wurden, hat dieses System hinreichend funktioniert.<\/p>\n

Nun gibt es aber E-Mail, Twitter, Videostreaming, Facebook, Bloggen \u2013 dieser bedient sich SAP, aber nicht partnerschaftlich. Die Angst, Kontrolle abgeben zu m\u00fcssen, Ansichten nicht diktieren, sondern lediglich diskutieren zu k\u00f6nnen, hat offensichtlich gro\u00dfe Verunsicherung bewirkt.<\/p>\n

Das Ergebnis sind Abschottung und Kommunikationsstillstand: Man baut ein TV-Netz mit eigenen Moderatoren auf, bevor man sich mit der freien Presse auseinandersetzt. Man bedient mit den eigenen Ressourcen die Social-Media-Kan\u00e4le, bevor man mit Journalisten ambivalent die Themen diskutiert.<\/p>\n
