Greenfield, Brownfield, Bluefield und jetzt Orangefield \u2013 was ist die erfolgreichste S\/4-Conversion f\u00fcr den SAP-Bestandskunden? Green- und Brownfield sind allgemein bekannte Transformationsregeln f\u00fcr einen SAP-Releasewechsel von ERP\/ECC 6.0 mit AnyDB nach Hana und S\/4. Blue- und Orangefield sind Kreationen von erfolgreichen SAP-Partnern mit einem Mehrwert, der \u00fcber den technischen Releasewechsel hinausgeht. Bluefield ist bereits in der SAP-Community erfolgreich eingef\u00fchrt, w\u00e4hrend \u201ePower of Orange\u201c ein junges Konzept ist, das eine Zusammenfassung existierender Werkzeuge darstellt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die SAP\u2019sche Farbenlehre ist demnach schwierig zu bewerten, weil der Bestandskunde zwischen bew\u00e4hrten Methoden und propriet\u00e4ren L\u00f6sungen w\u00e4hlen sollte. Werden alle Farben vermischt, ergibt sich wahrscheinlich ein unansehnlicher Farbton \u2013 tendierend zur Trauerfarbe Schwarz. Umgekehrt wissen wir, dass am Anfang das wei\u00dfe Licht steht und dieses mit einem Prisma in die Spektralfarben aufgef\u00e4chert wird, wo wir dann sehr wohl Gr\u00fcn, Braun, Blau und Orange wiederfinden. Interessanterweise hatte Thomas Failer von DMI aus der Schweiz etwa dieselbe Idee: zur\u00fcck zum Ursprung, siehe auch E-3 Text in Ausgabe M\u00e4rz 2022, Seite 17. Ein Ursprung der Informatik findet sich an der ETH Z\u00fcrich, wo einst Professor Niklaus Wirth lehrte und das IT-Standardwerk \u201eAlgorithmen und Datenstrukturen\u201c schrieb. Bereits der Titel erkl\u00e4rt das gesamte Konzept.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eine sinnvolle Datenverarbeitung braucht Strukturen. Diese Strukturen k\u00f6nnen durch verschiedene Techniken vorgegeben werden, wie etwa relationale Datenbank, Graph-Datenbanken oder Blockchain. Auf die Strukturen sind Prozesse anzuwenden, damit aus Daten letztendlich Informationen werden. Algorithmen und Datenstrukturen sind die zwei Seiten einer Medaille \u2013 das eine ist ohne das andere nutzlos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trivial? Nicht ganz, denn es hat fast ein halbes Jahrhundert gedauert, bis das Konzept von Niklaus Wirth verstanden wurde, die Analysten von Gartner das Konzept Data Lake f\u00fcr obsolet erkl\u00e4rten und das Zeitalter des Data Fabric ausriefen. Data Lake sind strukturierte und unstrukturierte Daten in einem gro\u00dfen Gef\u00e4\u00df. Was fehlt, sind die Gesch\u00e4ftsprozesse (Algorithmen). Deswegen ist es auch m\u00fchsam, aus einem Data Lake relevante Informationen zu fischen \u2013 nicht unm\u00f6glich, aber f\u00fcr Data Scientists sehr m\u00fchsam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Data Fabric versucht, auch alle Daten zu konsolidieren, bem\u00fcht sich aber, das Beziehungsgeflecht zu erhalten, sodass das Wissen \u00fcber die Prozesse nicht verloren geht. Thomas Failer ist mit seinem Konzept noch einen Schritt weitergegangen: Zu allen Daten werden konsequent alle Businessobjekte gespeichert \u2013 also umgangssprachlich formuliert ein Tupel aus Algorithmen und Datenstrukturen. Thomas Failer hat seine Methode zum Patent angemeldet und er kann aus fast allen ERP-Systemen in sehr kurzer Zeit Daten und Prozesse extrahieren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Power of White: Alle Daten und Prozesse eines ECC werden in k\u00fcrzester Zeit exportiert und bleiben auch zuk\u00fcnftig aus einem S\/4 transparent auffindbar, als w\u00e4ren sie in einer Hana-Datenbank gespeichert.
