Es ist ein paradoxes Bild: SAP wirkt unver\u00e4ndert. Es wird programmiert, customized und beraten. Es gibt Meetings, Online-Veranstaltungen und eine 50-Jahres-Feier in der SAP-Arena in Mannheim mit nahezu 1000 G\u00e4sten und vielen Anekdoten aus der Vergangenheit. Es gibt in M\u00fcnchen eine Sapphire mit Invitation-only und naturgem\u00e4\u00df ohne Analysten und Journalisten. Alles erscheint so wie in den vergangenen Jahren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eine genauere Analyse zeigt jedoch, dass sich nichts mehr bewegt bei SAP: Der Konzern erscheint eingefroren, bewegungslos und starr. Niemand tut wirklich etwas. Nichts Bedeutsames, Strategisches und Vision\u00e4res passiert. Die einzige Botschaft f\u00fcr die Zukunft lautet: Wir halten S\/4 bis 2040 in der Wartung! Sonst tut sich nichts bei SAP und auch nur wenig in der SAP-Partnerlandschaft \u2013 aber Nichtstun ist keine Option! Ein Beispiel: Der beliebte und erfolgreiche SolMan braucht f\u00fcr das Cloud-Computing-Zeitalter einen Nachfolger. Theoretisch k\u00f6nnte ILM, Information Lifecycle Management, den SolMan beerben, aber seit drei Jahren gibt es keine Weiterentwicklung. ILM ist eingefroren, bewegungslos und starr. Es gibt SAP-Partner, die auf eine Auferstehung und Wiederbelebung warten und derweilen nichts tun, aber Nichtstun ist keine Option. Es gibt einen SAP-Partner, der eine ILM-Alternative realisiert hat und Anfang kommenden Jahres diese in der SAP-Community ausrollen wird.<\/p>

Offensichtlich geht eine L\u00e4hmung von SAP aus, die mittlerweile gro\u00dfe Teile der SAP-Partner-Community erfasst hat. Es erscheint wie ein gruppendynamisches Szenario: Wer blinzelt als Erster? Wer kommuniziert als Erster? Wer macht die erste Pr\u00e4senzveranstaltung? Wer entwickelt eine postpandemische Markenbotschaft als Erster? Oder m\u00fcssen wir nicht mehr miteinander kommunizieren? Sind Visionen und Storytelling nur Trugbilder und im Grunde ist ohnehin alles bestens? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die schreibenden Kollegen von der WiWo haben ausgerechnet, dass SAP-Chef Christian Klein in den vergangenen zwei Jahren etwa 60 Milliarden B\u00f6rsenwert vernichtet hat. H\u00e4tte sich der DAX \u00e4hnlich entwickelt wie die SAP-Aktion, m\u00fcsste der Index aktuell bei etwa 8500 Punkten stehen. Bei SAP selbst und in der Partner-Community m\u00fcssten demnach die Alarmglocken 24\/7 l\u00e4uten. Bei den SAP-Bestandskunden ist diese Krise bereits angekommen. Dort reagiert man und verifiziert neue IT-Quellen, weil die Anwender wissen, dass Nichtstun keine Option ist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Es erscheint v\u00f6llig r\u00e4tselhaft, mit welcher Ruhe und Gleichg\u00fcltigkeit Christian Klein und viele Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer von SAP-Partnerunternehmen aktuell agieren. W\u00e4hrend viele SAP-Bestandskunden \u00fcber den bekannten Tellerrand blicken und dort interessante Logistik-, IoT-, KI- und HR-Angebote finden, f\u00fcr Letzteres siehe Coverstory dieser Ausgabe, erscheint vielen Mitgliedern der SAP-Community das Nichtstun als plausible Option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die SAP-Bestandskunden werden SAP-Bestandskunden bleiben, aber das Nichtstun von SAP und einigen Partnern wird sie zwingen, den Anteil an SAP-basierten L\u00f6sungen zu reduzieren \u2013 zum Vorteil von ServiceNow, Salesforce, Workday, Oracle, Microsoft, Google, IBM und AWS. Von den R\u00e4ndern her wird das SAP-Hoheitsgebiet ausgeh\u00f6hlt. Viele Funktionen, die fr\u00fcher sehr selbstverst\u00e4ndlich von SAP geliefert wurden, kommen zuk\u00fcnftig von Mitbewerbern. Die bekanntesten Gebiete daf\u00fcr sind Industrie 4.0, Logistik und k\u00fcnstliche Intelligenz. Jetzt zahlt SAP den Preis f\u00fcr das langj\u00e4hrige Nichtstun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
