Auch auf EU-Ebene gibt es bereits einen entsprechenden Richtlinienvorschlag, der analog zum LkSG gr\u00f6\u00dfere Unternehmen und deren Lieferanten zur Einhaltung von Umweltschutz- und Menschenrechtsstandards \u00fcber die gesamte Wertsch\u00f6pfungskette hinweg verpflichtet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Digitale Transformation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Gesetze wie diese treiben die digitale Transformation in Betrieben jeglicher Branchen voran, da die l\u00fcckenlose Nachweispflicht und die damit einhergehende umfangreiche Dokumentation permanente Nachvollziehbarkeit und mehr Flexibilit\u00e4t im Supply-Chain-Management erfordern.<\/p>

F\u00fcr den Austausch mit Partnern und die Verarbeitung von Informationen entlang der Lieferketten braucht es zudem eine vertrauensw\u00fcrdige, sichere und transparente Dateninfrastruktur auf europ\u00e4ischer Ebene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dezentrale Dateninfrastruktur<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Europa beabsichtigt, seine Konkurrenzf\u00e4higkeit im Technologiebereich durch Zusammenarbeit im digitalen Binnenmarkt zu erh\u00f6hen. Ziel ist es, bereits vorhandene zentrale und dezentrale Dateninfrastrukturen zu einem homogenen, transparenten System \u2013 einer \u201eeurop\u00e4ischen Plattform mit Softwareinfrastruktur\u201c \u2013 auf maximalem Datenschutz- und Sicherheitsniveau zu vernetzen. Dazu gilt es gemeinsame Normen, Software und einen organisatorischen Rahmen zu erarbeiten. Offene Technologien stellen den sicheren Austausch von Daten, Anwendungen und Know-how sowie die Nutzung von Diensten bzw. Services dar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daraus ergeben sich k\u00fcnftig sowohl f\u00fcr Cloud-Dienstleister (Cloud-Service-Provider, CSP) als auch User neue M\u00f6glichkeiten, innovative Gesch\u00e4ftsmodelle und Produkte zu schaffen und ihre Wettbewerbsposition international zu st\u00e4rken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die im Juni 2020 gegr\u00fcndete Gaia-X-Foundation hat sich dem genannten Ziel verschrieben. Partner aus mehr als 300 Unternehmen und Organisationen verschiedener europ\u00e4ischer Staaten, darunter Fabasoft und SAP, arbeiten gemeinsam an der Entwicklung einer leistungsf\u00e4higen Plattform, die schon jetzt Daten und Software \u00fcber ihre Architektur \u2013 ohne systemischen Bruch \u2013 abbildet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zertifizierte Datensicherheit<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Bei der Nutzung von IT-Diensten, vor allem Cloud-Services, nehmen Compliance und Rechtssicherheit im Datenschutz f\u00fcr Anwender einen hohen Stellenwert ein. Diverse Zertifizierungen wie der Cloud Computing Compliance Criteria Catalogue (C5) oder die ISO-Zertifizierungen 27001 und 27018 weisen die Compliance hinsichtlich DSGVO und IT-Sicherheit nach und schaffen Vertrauen zwischen Gesch\u00e4ftspartnern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dar\u00fcber hinaus stellt der EU Cloud Code of Conduct (CoC) den bis heute einzigen umfassenden, von der EU-Kommission selbst initiierten Verhaltenskodex f\u00fcr die technische und organisatorische Umsetzung vorbildlicher europ\u00e4ischer Datenschutzstandards dar. Fabasoft hat als weltweit erstes Unternehmen die dritte und somit h\u00f6chste Compliance-Stufe (Level 3) des EU Cloud CoC erreicht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
