Die Cloud-Initiative Rise with SAP hat in diesem Jahr deutlich in ihrer Bekanntheit zugenommen. Daneben gewinnt auch das Private-Cloud-Angebot der SAP vermehrt an Beliebtheit. Es l\u00e4sst sich insgesamt sagen, dass die Skepsis gegen\u00fcber der Cloud in diesem Jahr erstmals erkennbar abgenommen hat. Unternehmen wertsch\u00e4tzen zunehmend die Vorteile der Private-Cloud-Architektur, bei der sie die bew\u00e4hrten Cloud-Vorteile nutzen und gleichzeitig m\u00f6gliche Unsicherheiten der Public Cloud in Bezug auf Datensicherheit, Ausfallzeiten oder Compliance-Anforderungen vermeiden k\u00f6nnen. Dennoch bestehen bei einigen Unternehmen noch gewisse Restzweifel in Bezug auf die Cloud-Migration. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Modifikationen und Customizing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n


An erster Stelle steht die Sorge um die gro\u00dfe Anzahl bestehender Eigenentwicklungen, die bisher lokal betrieben werden und nicht oder nur teilweise in die Cloud \u00fcberf\u00fchrt werden k\u00f6nnen. Direkt gefolgt von Bedenken hinsichtlich fehlender Customizing-M\u00f6glichkeiten, insbesondere in der Public Cloud, sowie Datenschutz- und Datensicherheitsbedenken. Zumindest in Bezug auf die Integration und Entwicklung von Erweiterungen kann die SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) als L\u00f6sungsansatz dienen.<\/p>

Die M\u00f6glichkeiten der BTP sind zwar facettenreich, scheinen jedoch bei zahlreichen deutschen Unternehmen noch nicht vollst\u00e4ndig angekommen zu sein. Den Umfrageergebnissen zufolge nutzen
34 Prozent der Befragten die BTP bereits \u2013 13 Prozent sind zumindest mit der Einf\u00fchrung besch\u00e4ftigt. Die andere H\u00e4lfte hat sich bisher noch nicht ausreichend mit der SAP BTP auseinandergesetzt. Demgegen\u00fcber hadern knapp 18 Prozent der Befragten mit dem Kostenfaktor bei der Implementierung. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bei der Betrachtung der Kosten sollten die ber\u00fchmten \u00c4pfel nicht mit den nicht weniger ber\u00fchmten Birnen verglichen werden. Die Total Costs of Ownership (TCO) sind hier das Stichwort. Bei der kostenseitigen Betrachtung hinsichtlich des Einsatzes der BTP m\u00fcssen den Kosten der BTP die gesamten Kosten gegen\u00fcbergestellt werden, die entstehen, wenn die Plattform nicht eingesetzt wird. Aufw\u00e4ndige Upgrade-Projekte bei On-stack-Erweiterungen statt der Implementierung von Side-by-side-Extensions sind hier beispielhaft genannt, ebenso der kostenintensive Betrieb von Schnittstellen ohne die Nutzung moderner Integrationskonzepte\/-technologien wie API-basierte und ereignisgesteuerte Integration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Agile und intelligente Unternehmen haben einen klaren Wettbewerbsvorteil, da sie proaktiv handeln und sich schnell an neue Marktbedingungen anpassen. Ihr Erfolg beruht auf Echtzeitdaten als Grundlage f\u00fcr Entscheidungen, nahtlos integrierte Gesch\u00e4ftsprozesse \u00fcber verschiedene Systeme hinweg und der F\u00e4higkeit, Anwendungen bedarfsgerecht zu erweitern und neue Applikationen zu entwickeln. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
