Die Finanzanalysten scheinen in diesem Milliardentransfer einen Hoffnungsschimmer f\u00fcr den ERP-Weltmarktf\u00fchrer zu sehen. Das deutsche Handelsblatt konnte anl\u00e4sslich der SAP-Verlautbarung berichten: \u201eNach Zahlen des Marktforschungs- und Beratungsunternehmens Gartner vom Jahresanfang haben fast 70 Prozent aller Bestandskunden noch keine Lizenzen f\u00fcr S\/4 Hana gekauft \u2013 trotz Programmen wie Rise with SAP, die eine Erleichterung bei der Migration versprechen. Diese S\/4-\u00dcberzeugungsarbeit wird zuk\u00fcnftig noch schwieriger, weil SAP die Hosting-Vertr\u00e4ge mit den Hyperscalern und SAP-Partnern auslaufen l\u00e4sst. SAP-Bestandskunden, die auf S\/4-Innovationen angewiesen sind, m\u00fcssen dann in die SAP Public oder Private Cloud. Erleichtern sollen die \u00dcberzeugungsarbeit ab 2024 die IT-Werkzeuge von LeanIX, allen voran das Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM). Der Abschluss der Transaktion wird f\u00fcr das vierte Quartal 2023 erwartet, abh\u00e4ngig von den \u00fcblichen rechtlichen Bedingungen und beh\u00f6rdlichen Genehmigungen. Es wird f\u00fcr SAP eine gro\u00dfe Herausforderung, das Enterprise Architecture Management von LeanIX mit dem Process Mining von Signavio und SAP Cloud ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) und das automatisierte Testen von SAP-Partner Tricentis inklusive generativer KI zu harmonisieren und zu orchestrieren. Aus allem soll die von Christian Klein erw\u00e4hnte Transformations-Suite erwachsen. Eine Roadmap daf\u00fcr gibt es nicht, Experten rechnen aber kaum mit einer Fertigstellung vor der S\/4-Deadline 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Was technisch und organisatorisch gut zusammenpasst, muss nicht unbedingt strategischen und vision\u00e4ren Mehrwert ergeben. Die Kombination aus ERP von SAP, Process Mining von Signavio und EAM von LeanIX kann einen hohen Mehrwert f\u00fcr die Digitalisierung bei den SAP-Bestandskunden bringen. Beim Umstieg von SAP ECC 6.0 auf S\/4 Hana gilt es viele alte Z\u00f6pfe abzuschneiden und die eigene Aufbau- und Ablauforganisation zu digitalisieren. Hierbei kann Signavio einige ERP-Prozesse kritisch hinterfragen und vielleicht einige Abap-Modifikationen eliminieren. LeanIX hatte aber als Architekt nicht nur ERP im Fokus, sondern alle IT-Applikationen eines Unternehmens. Das Start-up aus Bonn ist somit Enterprise-Architekt und eben nicht ERP-, CRM- oder SCM-Architekt. So gesehen ist LeanIX ein Universalist, w\u00e4hrend SAP ein Spezialist ist. Unabh\u00e4ngig von Umsatz und Mitarbeiteranzahl: LeanIX ist mehr als ERP und damit zu gro\u00df f\u00fcr SAP. Wenn der Baumeister (SAP) nun den Architekten (LeanIX) kauft, vergr\u00f6\u00dfert der Baumeister seine Macht und seinen Einfluss. Naturgem\u00e4\u00df will Klein die Kontrolle mittels Transformations-Suite. Manchmal sind aber Kooperationen sinnvoller als rohe Gewalt, siehe den erw\u00e4hnten Film von Greenaway. Der SAP-Community, die bereits LeanIX auch f\u00fcr viele Non-SAP-Applikationen einsetzt, w\u00e4re mit einer \u00dcbernahme durch SAP nicht geholfen. LeanIX w\u00e4re dann, wie Signavio, nur eine weitere Baustelle im SAP-Universum, aber ohne EAM-Mehrwert f\u00fcr die Bestandskunden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mit der geplanten Akquisition will SAP unbedingt die umfassende Transformations-Suite erzwingen. Damit soll den SAP-Bestandskunden geholfen werden, Ver\u00e4nderungen im Gesch\u00e4ftsumfeld einfacher zu bew\u00e4ltigen und ihre Gesch\u00e4ftsprozesse dauerhaft zu verbessern. SAPs geplante L\u00f6sungssuite zur Gesch\u00e4ftstransformation soll Bestandskunden einen umfassenden \u00dcberblick \u00fcber Gesch\u00e4ftsprozesse und -anwendungen bieten, einschlie\u00dflich der Abbildung von Prozessabh\u00e4ngigkeiten und der Darstellung der Auswirkungen potenzieller Transformationen auf ihre IT-Landschaft. Reflexartig denkt der Betrachter an das Berliner Start-up Signavio von Gr\u00fcnder Gero Decker. Signavio wurde von SAP f\u00fcr etwa eine Milliarde Euro \u00fcbernommen, um sich gegen das M\u00fcnchner Einhorn Celonis zu r\u00fcsten. SAP, Signavio und Celonis sind eine andere Geschichte. Hier geht es um LeanIX und die Gier von SAP, alles kontrollieren zu wollen. Soeben hat SAP die Vertr\u00e4ge mit den Hyperscalern gek\u00fcndigt, weil SAP das Cloud Computing vollst\u00e4ndig mit den eigenen Rechenzentren kontrollieren will. SAP kann nicht Partnerschaft! Jetzt \u00fcbernimmt SAP das Start-up LeanIX wie zuvor Signavio f\u00fcr etwa eine Milliarde Euro. Weil SAP vom Wesen her nicht kooperieren kann, bleiben immer nur zwei Konsequenzen: Ausgrenzen oder \u00dcbernehmen. Eine Kooperation mit LeanIX, wie Luka Mucic sie eingef\u00e4delt hat, w\u00e4re wesentlich intelligenter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" data-block-type=\"core\">Desinteresse und Panik<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Die SAP-Community kennt das reflexartige Verhalten von SAP: Zuerst Desinteresse, eine Entwicklung wird verschlafen, dann Panik und wilder Aktionismus mit oft un\u00fcberlegten Handlungen. Nat\u00fcrlich hat SAP den CRM-Trend in Richtung Customer Experience verschlafen. In Panik kaufte man f\u00fcr acht Milliarden Euro das US-amerikanische Unternehmen Qualtrics. Naturgem\u00e4\u00df konnte zuerst SAP-CEO Bill McDermott und sp\u00e4ter SAP-CEO Christian Klein damit keine Probleme l\u00f6sen. Also wurde Qualtrics verkauft. Nur dem Geschick von Ex-SAP-CFO Luka Mucic ist zu verdanken, dass dieser Irrtum zumindest finanziell ein Gewinn war. Zuerst stand das M\u00fcnchner Start-up Celonis auf der SAP-Preisliste, dann wollte sich Celonis partout von SAP nicht kaufen lassen. Tief beleidigt eliminierte SAP den einstigen Partner von der Preisliste und kaufte in einer Trotzreaktion das Berliner Start-up Signavio. Die Integration von Signavio in das SAP-Universum ist bis heute nicht gegl\u00fcckt. SAP Cloud ALM ist noch immer eine Baustelle. Aber Celonis hat mittlerweile eine Bewertung von 13 Milliarden Euro. Nat\u00fcrlich braucht SAP nach Signavio auch LeanIX, um eine glaubhafte Cloud-Computing-Story den Bestandskunden pr\u00e4sentieren zu k\u00f6nnen. SAP Cloud Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) ist eine unendliche Baustelle und ohne Enterprise Architecture Management von Lean-IX nur ein Versuch und keine Antwort.
