Altlasten SAP-Modifikationen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Viele SAP-Bestandskunden haben die ERP-Systeme R\/3 und ERP\/ECC 6.0 mit Abap-Modifikationen angepasst. Teilweise fanden diese ERP-Erweiterungen nicht nur im daf\u00fcr vorgesehenen Bereich, sondern auch im ERP-Kern statt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SAP war und ist ein offenes System und SAP legt sehr viel Wert auf konstruktive Zusammenarbeit mit den Anwendern und innovative Weiterentwicklungen. Von Beginn an gab es bei SAP entsprechende IT-Werkzeuge, mit denen das ERP-System nach den W\u00fcnschen der Anwender gestaltet werden konnte. Manchmal entwickelte sich aus der Modifikation eine Eigendynamik, sodass am Ende das ERP-System nicht mehr releasef\u00e4hig war.<\/p>

SAP Clean Core oder Frozen Core<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Unter dem Management von SAP-Technikvorstand J\u00fcrgen M\u00fcller \u2013 er verl\u00e4sst in diesen Tagen den Konzern \u2013 entstand die Idee: zur\u00fcck zum Standard! Die Idee ist ein ERP-System nahe am Standard, sodass zuk\u00fcnftige Releasewechsel und Systemerweiterungen schnell und problemlos eingespielt werden k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aber die Idee eines standardisierten ERP-Systems wurde nie wissenschaftlich definiert! Manchmal hie\u00df es \u201eERP Frozen Core\u201c, dann wieder \u201eS\/4 Clean Core\u201c und dann kamen auch Ger\u00fcchte auf, dass ausgew\u00e4hlte Funktionen sehr wohl nahe am ERP-Kern modifiziert werden k\u00f6nnen und d\u00fcrfen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Es gibt somit bei SAP eine klare Vision: Ein S4-Hana-System soll weitgehend einen Clean Core besitzen, um bis ins Jahr 2040 stabil wartbar zu bleiben. Daneben soll es Business Technology Platform geben, eine IT-ERP-Plattform f\u00fcr Modifikationen inklusive Steampunk, CAP und RAP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Was fehlt, sind eine verbindliche Definition des Clean Core und eine Roadmap f\u00fcr zuk\u00fcnftige S\/4-Modifikationen inklusive einer dazugeh\u00f6rigen PKL, Preis- und Konditionenliste. Der Nachfolger von J\u00fcrgen M\u00fcller erbt somit zahlreiche Altlasten \u2013 nicht nur die Abap-Modifikationen aus dem R\/3-Zeitalter, sondern auch die Vision \u201eFrozen und Clean Core\u201c, der jede wissenschaftliche Definition und Roadmap fehlt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rettungsanker SAP BTP<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Auch in Zukunft werden SAP-Bestandskunden die Notwendigkeit haben, das ERP-System S\/4 anzupassen. Das Modifikationswerkzeug Abap wird weiterleben und neue Entwicklungswerkzeuge und Methoden werden hinzukommen, siehe CAP (Cloud Application Programming) und RAP (RESTful Application Programming).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bereits dieses Jahr veranstaltete das E3-Magazin einen erfolgreichen Summit<\/a> zum Thema Steampunk und BTP. Die Fortsetzung gibt es 2025 am 5. und 6. M\u00e4rz in Heidelberg. Auf diesem Summit werden alle M\u00f6glichkeiten und Optionen von (embedded) Abap, CAP, RAP und SAP BTP, als die neue ERP-Plattform diskutiert. Zahlreiche Vortr\u00e4ge von Analysten, Experten und SAP-Partnern geben ein erhellendes Bild in die Welt der SAP-Modifikationen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Der Steampunk und BTP Summit 2025<\/a> soll weitere Klarheit \u00fcber die Ziele der SAP bringen, denn noch ist die Plattform BTP in einer Metamorphose. Viele und gute Ideen ergeben noch keine IT-ERP-Plattform. Zusammen mit Clean Core ist BTP bei SAP noch immer ein bewegliches Ziel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
