Dabei profitieren nicht nur wir als Serviceprovider, sondern zugleich unsere SAP-Kunden von der Nutzung einer SAP-Basis-Automatisierungs-Suite mehrfach. Insofern ist der Stellenwert einer SAP-Basis-Automatisierungs-Suite sehr hoch, da deren Einsatz mehrdimensional wirkt. Wir verfahren bei unserem Agieren nach dem Motto: \u201eWas sich automatisieren l\u00e4sst, sollte automatisiert werden.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Thomas Br\u00fclhart, SoftwareOne<\/strong>: Mit einer SAP-Basis-Automatisierungs-Suite sind immer gleichbleibende und qualitativ hochwertige Prozesse in den einzelnen Apps und insgesamt verbunden. Lassen sich Zahlen nennen?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Genzler<\/strong>: Es ist geplant, die Ressourcen\u00adeinsparungen, die wir durch die Automatisierungs-Software EPOS erzielen, im Detail zu untersuchen. Nach unseren bisherigen Erfahrungen erzielen wir Ressourceneinsparungen bei Standard-Tasks und der Erstellung von SAP-Systemko\u00adpien von bis zu 70 Prozent. Dadurch sind wir in der Lage, beim Erbringen unserer Services eine hohe Effizienz zu erreichen. Hinzu kommt, dass wir Effizienzsteigerungen und erweiterte Funktionsumf\u00e4nge an Kunden als Verbesserungen unserer Services weitergeben k\u00f6nnen. Und das, ohne zwangsl\u00e4ufig die Services teurer zu machen. Mit anderen Worten: Kunden erhalten f\u00fcr dasselbe Geld mehr Services. Unterm Strich lassen sich die Gewinne durchaus als signifikant bewerten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Br\u00fclhart<\/strong>: Es lassen sich viele Vorteile benennen. Ein System-Administrator betreut bei uns mehrere SAP-Kunden, ein anderer andere Kunden. Beide sind aber in der Lage, diese oder jene Kunden zu \u00adbetreuen, weil sie mit einer Software f\u00fcr die Automatisierung des SAP-Systembetriebs vertraut sind. Sei es bei der Erstellung von SAP-Systemkopien, sei es, um zu empfehlen, welche SEC Notes einzuspielen sind, oder sei es, ad hoc abzufragen, welche SAP-Versionen sich im Einsatz befinden. Vielleicht noch zur Erg\u00e4nzung: Bei uns dauert heute die Erstellung einer Systemkopie etwa f\u00fcr ein kleines SAP-HR\/HCM-System nicht einmal eine Stunde, ohne Automatisierung waren es drei Tage und mehr. Insgesamt sind wir mit EPOS happy, da wir als SAP-Serviceprovider \u00adunsere Service-Dienstleistungen zu \u00fcberschaubaren Kosten und einem optimierten Personaleinsatz erbringen k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\" data-block-type=\"core\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-8cf370e7 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\" data-block-type=\"core\">\n<p><strong>Empirius: Was waren die Gr\u00fcnde f\u00fcr das Votum der SAP-Basis-Automatisierungs-Suite EPOS?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Br\u00fclhart<\/strong>: Wir hatten zuvor gute Erfahrungen mit der L\u00f6sung BlueCopy f\u00fcr die Erstellung von SAP-Systemkopien und mit dem Unternehmen Empirius gemacht. Dadurch gab es enge Kontakte zur Technik und zum Support. In der Folge auch eine gemeinsame Entwicklung, die wir BlueCopy for Azure benannten. Hierbei ging es um eine Schnittstelle zu Azur, um auf Backups f\u00fcr SAP-Systemkopien zugreifen zu k\u00f6nnen. Fr\u00fch, noch vor der eigentlichen Verf\u00fcgbarkeit von EPOS, wurden wir \u00fcber die neue L\u00f6sung informiert und konnten einen Piloten testen beziehungsweise einen Proof of Concept durchf\u00fchren. Seit Anfang 2023 setzen wir EPOS produktiv ein. Wie bei BlueCopy \u00fcberzeugten die Funktionalit\u00e4t, die Zuverl\u00e4ssigkeit sowie die Nutzungsm\u00f6glichkeiten der verschiedenen EPOS-Apps.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\" data-block-type=\"core\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-8cf370e7 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\" data-block-type=\"core\">\n<p><strong>Empirius: Welche Apps f\u00fcr automatisierte SAP-Basis-Aufgaben setzt SoftwareOne ein?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Genzler<\/strong>: Zum einen nach wie vor BlueCopy f\u00fcr die Erstellung von SAP-Systemkopien, davon realisieren wir pro Jahr rund 30. Ferner nutzen wir die EPOS-App f\u00fcr das SAP-Kernel-Patching und die App f\u00fcr das automatisierte Starten\/Stoppen von SAP-Systemen. J\u00fcngst hinzugekommen ist die SEC Notes App f\u00fcr das Handling beziehungsweise f\u00fcr das Managen von SAP Security Notes. Au\u00dferdem nutzen wir relativ intensiv die Reporting-App, als Element unseres erweiterten Monitorings. Mit der EPOS-App Reporting k\u00f6nnen wir schnell und zielgenau auf Informationen zugreifen wie SAP-System- und -Anwendungs-Versionsst\u00e4nde. Und sie wurden hier und da durch neue Features oder Apps auch \u00fcbererf\u00fcllt. Zum Beispiel bei der SEC Notes-App. Momentan testen wir die neue App f\u00fcr das SAP-Software-Zertifikate-Management. \u00dcbrigens nutzen wir die SAP-Basis-Automatisierungs-<br>Suite EPOS international respektive global in Verbindung mit verschiedenen SAP-\u00adSystemauspr\u00e4gungen; mit SAP ERP ECC sowie SAP S\/4 HANA, mit SAP HANA, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server oder mit den Betriebssystemen Linux und Microsoft Windows. Dadurch haben sich SAP-Kundenkreis und SAP-Themenfelder kontinuierlich ausgeweitet. Bereitgestellt werden SAP-Services, die sowohl das \u201ePlan\u201c als auch das \u201eBuild\u201c und das \u201eRun\u201c abdecken. Im Fokus steht seit geraumer Zeit die SAP ERP ECC-SAP S\/4 HANA-Transition; mit allen ihren Fa\u00adcetten. Zahlreiche IT-Dienstleistungen werden als SAP Managed Services offeriert beziehungsweise sind als solche von Kunden in w\u00e4hlbaren Packages geb\u00fcndelt. <\/p><div
