Obwohl die seligen Zeiten naturgem\u00e4\u00df lange vorbei sind, als SAP einer verzweifelten Microsoft half, den SQL-Server f\u00fcr R\/3 betriebsbereit zu machen. Heute gibt es f\u00fcr SAP nur noch Hana \u2013 alles andere ist Old Economy!<\/p>\n

Die neue Partnerschaft ist hingegen beachtenswert, weil sie auf zwei peinlichen Baustellen beruht: Wieder einmal soll es eine Integration von MS-Office in die Produkte der SAP geben und Microsofts Cloud Azure soll Hana-kompatibel werden.<\/p>

Ersteres ist der beste Treppenwitz von der Sapphire 2016 aus Orlando. Jeder dort anwesende SAP-Bestandskunde wird sich noch gut an Duet erinnern, die Schnittstelle zwischen ERP 6.0 und Office, von der Ex-SAP-Technikvorstand Shai Agassi mindestens eine Million Lizenzen verkaufen wollte.<\/p>\n

Das damalige Prinzip: Wenn jemand in Office Outlook seinen Urlaub eintr\u00e4gt, wird \u00fcber die Duet-Schnittstelle eine Meldung an die Personalabteilung abgesetzt. Es war ein D\u00e9j\u00e0-vu, genau die gleiche Funktion pr\u00e4sentierte SAP-Chef Bill McDermott in diesem Jahr als bahnbrechende Innovation.<\/p>\n

Und gemeinsam mit Microsoft-Chef Satya Nadella verk\u00fcndete McDermott eine weitere unglaubliche Sensation: Auch Azure, die Microsoft Cloud, kann jetzt Hana \u2013 was AWS schon seit \u00fcber einem Jahr beherrscht.<\/p>\n

In Orlando auf der Sapphire 2016 trafen sich zwei IT-Unternehmenslenker, die ohne Skrupel den eigenen Bestandskunden alten Wein in neuen Schl\u00e4uchen verkauften.
