Vor etwa einem Jahr er\u00f6ffnete Bj\u00f6rn Goerke die Saison der prominenten SAP-Abg\u00e4nger. Er verlie\u00df SAP \u00fcberraschend und hielt seinen Status nahezu ein halbes Jahr lang geheim. Dann gab es am 4. April auf seinem Twitter-Account die Meldung:<\/p>\n

\u201eSo it is official, after 30 amazing years \u2013 I decided to leave SAP. It has been a blast.\u201c<\/em><\/p>

In der ersten Jahresh\u00e4lfte verlie\u00dfen dann die beiden SAP-Vorst\u00e4nde Bernd Leukert und Rob Enslin das Unternehmen. In beiden F\u00e4llen war die Nachrichtenlage sehr d\u00fcnn und wenig aussagekr\u00e4ftig. Die organisatorischen Ver\u00e4nderungen bei SAP aber waren gewaltig. Was eventuell eine Ursache f\u00fcr viele Missverst\u00e4ndnisse war.<\/p>\n

Michael Kleinemeier, der seinen SAP-Vorstandsbereich fast schon zur G\u00e4nze an Bernd Leukert \u00fcbergeben hatte, musste nun auf Bitten des Aufsichtsrats sein SAP-Engagement um ein Jahr verl\u00e4ngern. Geplant war, dass Kleinemeier mit Ende dieses Jahres in den Ruhestand tritt.<\/p>\n

Auch f\u00fcr den Vorstandsbereich Rob Enslins brauchte es dringend Ersatz, denn das Cloud Computing durfte nicht ohne Chef dastehen. Jetzt w\u00e4re nat\u00fcrlich Bj\u00f6rn Goerke optimal gewesen, denn kaum jemand verstand das Cloud Computing so gut wie er. Die Wahl fiel auf SAP-Vorstandsmitglied Jennifer Morgan, die als sehr erfolgreiche Vertriebsmanagerin die Komplexit\u00e4t der Cloud \u00fcberblicken konnte.<\/p>\n

Am 10. April dieses Jahres sagte der damalige SAP-Chef McDermott in einem Interview der Frankfurter Allgemeinen:<\/p>\n

\u201eEs gibt und gab keine Probleme im Vorstand. […] Unser Aufsichtsratsvorsitzender Hasso Plattner und ich sind vollst\u00e4ndig auf einer Linie. <\/em><\/p>\n

Wenn zwei Vorst\u00e4nde, die zusammen f\u00fcnfzig Jahre f\u00fcr SAP gearbeitet haben, nach langer Zeit etwas Neues planen, dann ist das v\u00f6llig normal. Wir haben mit J\u00fcrgen M\u00fcller und Christian Klein hervorragende junge Leute im Vorstand. SAP ist st\u00e4rker als je zuvor.\u201c<\/em><\/p>\n

Im Sommer verlie\u00df dann auch noch einer der wichtigsten Hana-Executives das Unternehmen: Franz F\u00e4rber sagte, dass er sich eine Auszeit nehmen wolle. Er war wesentlich an der Marktreife der Hana-Datenbank beteiligt und arbeitete intensiv mit Bj\u00f6rn Goerke und Bernd Leukert zusammen.<\/p>\n

Dann am Freitag, 11. Oktober, das gr\u00f6\u00dfte Missverst\u00e4ndnis in dieser Kette von ungl\u00fcckseligen Personalentscheidungen: Bill McDermott wird durch eine neue SAP-Doppelspitze, bestehend aus Jennifer Morgan und Christian Klein, ersetzt.<\/p>\n

Eigentlich wollte McDermott noch ein wenig bei SAP bleiben, doch Hasso Plattner entschied sehr schnell und pragmatisch: Bist du nicht f\u00fcr SAP, dann bist du gegen SAP. McDermott darf noch als \u201eBerater\u201c bis Jahresende im SAP-Vorstand bleiben.<\/p>\n

Hasso Plattner meinte:<\/p>\n

\u201eWir gratulieren Jennifer Morgan und Christian Klein [\u2026] Bereits vor einem Jahr haben Bill McDermott und ich beschlossen, die Aufgabenbereiche der beiden zu erweitern und sie somit gr\u00fcndlich auf eine F\u00fchrungsrolle an der Unternehmensspitze vorzubereiten.\u201c<\/em><\/p>\n
