Deutsche Unternehmen gelten als z\u00f6gerlich in puncto Cloudmigration. Auch heute, im Jahr 2021, sind viele von ihnen noch immer nicht vollumf\u00e4nglich von der Cloud \u00fcberzeugt: Jedes zehnte Unternehmen setzt \u00fcberhaupt keine Cloud ein, fast ein Drittel arbeitet noch klassisch on-premises und verwendet nur punktuell die Cloud. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aber die Entwicklung hin zur Cloud nimmt in Deutschland definitiv an Fahrt auf. Zu diesem Ergebnis kommt eine Studie von Techconsult im Auftrag von Mimecast. Diese wurde im Dezember 2020 unter 200 Entscheidern in deutschen Unternehmen durchgef\u00fchrt. <\/p>

Wie weit Unternehmen bei der Cloudadoption sind, ist sowohl branchen- als auch gr\u00f6\u00dfenabh\u00e4ngig. Unternehmen mit bis zu 999 Mitarbeitern setzen zu 68,7 Prozent \u00fcberwiegend oder zu nahezu 100 Prozent auf die Cloud. Damit liegen sie deutlich vor Unternehmen mit 1000 bis 4999 Mitarbeitern, die zu 56,9 Prozent \u00fcberwiegend oder fast vollst\u00e4ndig die Cloud einsetzen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bei gr\u00f6\u00dferen Konzernen sind es hingegen nur noch 47,5 Prozent. In Bezug auf die Branche hat die Telekommunikation die Nase vorne und setzt zu 93,8 Prozent \u00fcberwiegend oder sogar zu 100 Prozent auf die Cloud. Auf Platz zwei und drei folgen Industrie (69 Prozent) und der Handel (66,7 Prozent). Selbstverst\u00e4ndlich ist der Prozess der Cloudmigration komplex und bedarf einer guten Planung. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gro\u00dfe Herausforderungen sehen die Befragten in Bezug auf die mit der Adoption verbundenen hohen Kosten (30 Prozent) und die Abh\u00e4ngigkeit von einem Anbieter (30 Prozent). Gerade zu Beginn k\u00f6nnen Initialkosten h\u00f6her sein, im Lauf der Zeit relativiert sich dies allerdings, da Investitionsausgaben f\u00fcr Hardware, Software und Wartung eingespart werden k\u00f6nnen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Furcht vor einem Vendor-Lock-in ist zun\u00e4chst berechtigt. Indem Unternehmen allerdings schon bei der Wahl des Anbieters auf die Portabilit\u00e4t des Services achten, kann diese Gefahr gering gehalten werden.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
