Schnellecke Logistics implements real-time tracking using smart containers and the cloud. With this IoT pilot, Schnellecke optimizes transparency about container locations and parts transport. The JIS containers equipped with a smart transmitter transmit their location at short intervals. This information is received by so-called gateways, which are installed both at Schnellecke and at the customer's site. All they need is power and Internet access, either via the local network or via a mobile phone connection. The containers are thus tracked continuously and in real time from picking to assembly at the car manufacturer.<\/p>\n

This preconfigured product utilizes specific core functions from the full cloud-based version of Ariba. Consequently, the licensing and pricing are tailored to the needs of user companies. This provides best-practice workflows, functions, and form templates that enable procure-to-pay processes to be handled efficiently and quickly with suppliers. This accelerates procurement processes and reduces expenses caused, among other things, by paper-based invoices. The target audience consists of companies with an annual procurement volume of approximately 50 million euros or more. JYSK recently began construction of an innovative logistics center on a total site area of 300,000 square meters. Detect Billing Errors at the Push of a Button<\/h3>\n

At the 2017 DSAG Annual Congress in Bremen (Hall 5, Booth G2), automation specialist Empirius is showcasing a new add-on solution called Actalyzer for SAP IS\/H, the widely used standard software for clinics and hospitals. This solution enables errors or discrepancies in patient billing to be detected and quickly resolved. It is, in fact, a recurring issue when, for example, a health insurance provider rejects a payment from a hospital or medical center due to errors or discrepancies in a patient bill. In such cases, it is necessary to review and analyze all data related to a patient on an ad hoc basis and as needed. This includes patient master data, case data, transaction data, and data on all services rendered. With Actalyzer, an add-on solution for SAP IS\/H (Industry Solution Hospital), all patient data can be quickly separated and automatically transferred from the production system to a QA or sandbox system to investigate the error or reported discrepancy. Such incidents or reviews cannot be performed in a production system because the data there is constantly changing.<\/p>\n

CIM, based in F\u00fcrstenfeldbruck near Munich, is pleased to announce that its warehouse management software, Prolag World, has once again received SAP certification. SAP\u2019s Integration and Certification Center has thus confirmed that version 2.7 of the solution is fully qualified for the exchange of critical data with SAP ECC 6.0. Stabilo is working to optimize its logistics, transportation, and shipping processes at its Wei\u00dfenburg facility. Key areas of focus included order fulfillment in shipping, the loading process, the handling of loaned goods, and scheduling.
