Uniserv and MSG Systems are further expanding their partnership. Customers benefit from holistic consulting in Master Data Management (MDM). Following the joint project success of Uniserv and MSG for a company from the logistics industry, all customers are now to benefit from the bundled know-how.<\/p>\n

Within the scope of the joint project, the challenge was to consolidate data from different, distributed systems in a central database. In addition, the data was to be made available throughout the Group.<\/p>

\"About one in two companies is dissatisfied with its customer data management, our latest study shows\"<\/em><\/p>\n

explains Matthias F\u00f6rg, Head of Sales DQ Solutions at Uniserv.<\/p>\n

\"But often it's not just the data assets that are deficient; companies also lack a strategy for how to address the issue of data management.\"<\/em><\/p>\n

To solve this problem, Uniserv and MSG developed a master data management system. This is based on a service-oriented architecture (SOA), which makes it possible to bring together all business partner data from various sources.<\/p>\n

A kind of firewall consisting of more than 100 business rules ensures the quality of the data. These business rules were previously designed by MSG together with the logistics company on the basis of Uniserv technology.<\/p>\n

The rules specify, for example, whether a postal address is correct and up-to-date or whether internal business partner data is incorrect or duplicated. Based on these rules, the system now cleans up possible errors.<\/p>\n

However, the customer can make manual adjustments via a modern web solution. The tool is thus individually adaptable to the needs of companies.<\/p>\n

says Axel Schmale, Account Manager DQ Sales at Uniserv and responsible for the cooperation.<\/p>\n

\"We're also seeing increasing demand for a holistic customer data management strategy, not just in logistics, but across industries. <\/em><\/p>\n

Therefore, we have decided to formalize the partnership we have started and make the all-round package we have developed together available to all customers.\"<\/em><\/p>\n

MSG Systems also welcomes the closer cooperation with Uniserv.<\/p>\n
