The search for flexible, secure and easily scalable solutions is driving migration to the cloud. Every second company will increasingly focus on cloud services in 2021. This is one of the findings of the study \"Crisis-proof thanks to cloud technologies\" prepared by Techconsult. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Changes in home office working practices have increased the pressure on IT operations management. 43 percent are confronted with increased demands on server and network management. 33 percent of companies lack computing power and 39 percent of companies are reaching limits with their storage capacities. <\/p>

Consequently, cloud technologies are moving more and more into the focus of companies. 31 percent of companies have increasingly looked at cloud-based IT operating models as a result of the Corona crisis. Companies are increasingly outsourcing their infrastructure or running hybrid operating models. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

28 percent of companies are moving more workloads and applications to the public cloud. The path to the private cloud is being taken by 27 percent. And hybrid cloud migration projects are being driven by 22 percent of companies. Companies that open up broadly to cloud technology are gaining competitive advantage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

IT resources can be called up as needed and thus used more efficiently and profitably. Almost every second company appreciates the flexibility gained through cloud services. 37 percent of companies benefit from the prompt and simple scalability of IT services.
