Karin Gr\u00e4slund, DSAG: \"Pedimos nada menos que el marco t\u00e9cnico para poder cumplir la ley y convertirla en una ventaja competitiva\".<\/em> La Ley de Diligencia Debida en la Cadena de Suministro (LkSG) anuncia un cambio de paradigma urgentemente necesario en Alemania: Si la responsabilidad empresarial a nivel voluntario no tiene ning\u00fan efecto en las cadenas de suministro, entonces las especificaciones sobre derechos humanos y protecci\u00f3n del medio ambiente deben ser vinculantes y aplicarse con medidas gubernamentales para identificar riesgos, prevenir infracciones, minimizarlas conjuntamente y ponerles fin. Hasta aqu\u00ed la teor\u00eda, el Grupo de Usuarios SAP de habla alemana -con el apoyo de SAP- aportar\u00e1 ahora tambi\u00e9n el tan necesario beneficio pr\u00e1ctico al LkSG. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Al fin y al cabo, todos tenemos que gestionar la nueva ley de forma \u00f3ptima con las infraestructuras inform\u00e1ticas, las licencias de software y los contratos de mantenimiento existentes; porque el esfuerzo administrativo y los requisitos legales seguir\u00e1n aumentando\", afirma Karin Gr\u00e4slund. La Ley de Diligencia Debida Corporativa en las Cadenas de Suministro -LkSG para abreviar (Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz)- fue aprobada por el Bundestag alem\u00e1n el 11 de junio del a\u00f1o pasado y obliga a las empresas con sede o sucursales en Alemania a observar, aplicar y, si es necesario, sancionar las obligaciones de diligencia debida en materia de derechos humanos dentro de sus cadenas de suministro globales. <\/p>

Sin embargo, las obligaciones de diligencia debida s\u00f3lo se aplican legalmente a los proveedores directos y, en su caso, a sus proveedores.
