Amazon Web Services (AWS) ha anunciado que Amgen est\u00e1 ampliando su colaboraci\u00f3n con AWS para desarrollar soluciones basadas en inteligencia artificial (IA) generativa que ayuden a descubrir, desarrollar y aumentar el rendimiento de la producci\u00f3n de medicamentos para pacientes con enfermedades graves. Amgen tambi\u00e9n aprovechar\u00e1 la infraestructura y los servicios globales de AWS para operar su nueva plataforma anal\u00edtica y de datos digitales con el fin de mejorar la eficiencia operativa y la sostenibilidad en sus nuevas instalaciones de ensamblaje y envasado final de medicamentos, cuya apertura est\u00e1 prevista para el pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o en el \u00e1rea metropolitana de Columbus, Ohio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La nueva planta estar\u00e1 equipada con nueva tecnolog\u00eda digital y rob\u00f3tica. Esto incluye la implementaci\u00f3n de una plataforma digital conectada en AWS con Amazon SageMaker, un servicio totalmente gestionado para crear, entrenar y desplegar modelos de aprendizaje autom\u00e1tico (ML) para capturar y analizar puntos de datos de producci\u00f3n diarios. La plataforma ayudar\u00e1 a reducir la intervenci\u00f3n de los operarios y a mejorar la seguridad ergon\u00f3mica de las tareas manuales mediante la utilizaci\u00f3n de IA, sensores y sistemas de visi\u00f3n en las l\u00edneas de envasado. Adem\u00e1s, la recopilaci\u00f3n y notificaci\u00f3n de indicadores de rendimiento en tiempo real se integrar\u00e1 con modelos ML para predecir y prevenir fallos en las l\u00edneas antes de que se produzcan. Esta capacidad de mantenimiento predictivo puede ayudar a reducir el tiempo de inactividad en comparaci\u00f3n con centros similares de toda la red, liberando capacidad de producci\u00f3n adicional.<\/p>
