Resulta especialmente interesante actualizar la cartera de licencias con la ayuda de la denominada conversi\u00f3n de contratos y deshacerse de las licencias heredadas. Con el actual modelo de licencias para SAP ECC, existen 1.200 elementos de producto diferentes y 15 licencias de usuario nominal.<\/p>\n

Con S\/4 Hana, esto cambiar\u00e1. Por ejemplo, las licencias SAP Named User ya no se ofrecer\u00e1n a los nuevos clientes. Los tipos de licencia est\u00e1ndar Named User se sustituir\u00e1n por tres nuevos tipos: Professional Use, Functional Use y Productivity Use.<\/p>

Antes de la negociaci\u00f3n del contrato S\/4, se debe comprobar qu\u00e9 usuarios necesitan qu\u00e9 tipos de licencia. Sobre esta base, se puede simular la nueva necesidad en S\/4. La experiencia ha demostrado que es aqu\u00ed donde se encuentra el mayor potencial de ahorro, ya que el uso real ser\u00e1 en el \u00e1rea de Uso Funcional y Uso de Productividad.<\/p>\n

Durante la conversi\u00f3n del contrato, las licencias ECC no se migran individualmente a S\/4 Hana. La cartera de licencias antigua se tiene en cuenta en el rec\u00e1lculo. Esto le da una oportunidad \u00fanica de adquirir las licencias S\/4 adecuadas.<\/p>\n
