Ya sea ir de compras, consultar con el banco o contactar con la administraci\u00f3n: tambi\u00e9n debido a la crisis de Corona, cada vez m\u00e1s actividades cotidianas se han trasladado al mundo digital. En este proceso, cada vez se plantea m\u00e1s una pregunta: \u00bfc\u00f3mo se puede demostrar digitalmente la propia identidad? Y de forma r\u00e1pida, c\u00f3moda y segura, de modo que se almacene la menor cantidad posible de informaci\u00f3n en lugares sobre los que el individuo no tiene control, y sin que terceros se enteren, por ejemplo, cuando nos identificamos en una oficina. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Una posible respuesta a este reto la ofrece la tecnolog\u00eda blockchain y la llamada Identidad Autosoberana, tambi\u00e9n conocida como identidad digital descentralizada. Por ello, la asociaci\u00f3n digital Bitkom ha publicado un documento informativo sobre este tema, \"Self Sovereign Identity Use Cases - from vision to practice\", que explica el concepto y expone cuatro casos de uso concretos en los que la tecnolog\u00eda es superior a las soluciones convencionales.<\/p>

En esencia, las identidades digitales descentralizadas consisten en que los usuarios gestionan sus propias identidades digitales sin depender de un proveedor central de servicios de identidad donde, por ejemplo, se almacenan sus datos personales. En su lugar, el usuario recibe certificados digitales de una sola vez de entidades de confianza, como las autoridades estatales, sobre determinadas caracter\u00edsticas de la identidad personal, como la direcci\u00f3n o la edad, que luego puede utilizar para identificarse y autenticarse sin m\u00e1s consentimiento del emisor. La cadena de bloques (blockchain) se utiliza para garantizar la legitimidad de los certificados digitales emitidos, que como tales no permiten ninguna inferencia sobre los datos personales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tras introducir la funcionalidad, el documento de Bitkom presenta cuatro casos de uso de las identidades digitales descentralizadas.
