Las cifras proceden de la 24\u00aa Encuesta Mundial Anual de CEO de PwC, en la que se encuest\u00f3 a 5050 CEO de 100 pa\u00edses y regiones en enero y febrero de 2021. El porcentaje de CEOs que esperan crecimiento ha aumentado del 22% en 2020 al 76%. Se trata del mayor nivel de optimismo desde que se realiz\u00f3 la encuesta por primera vez en 2012. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

El optimismo de los CEO sobre el crecimiento econ\u00f3mico mundial es especialmente fuerte en Norteam\u00e9rica y Europa Occidental. El 86% y el 76% de los consejeros delegados de estas regiones, respectivamente, prev\u00e9n una mejora del crecimiento mundial para el a\u00f1o en curso. Los CEO tambi\u00e9n se muestran de nuevo m\u00e1s optimistas sobre el futuro de sus empresas. <\/p>

Alrededor del 36% de los encuestados afirmaron tener \"mucha confianza\" en las perspectivas de crecimiento de sus ventas en los pr\u00f3ximos doce meses. En 2020, este porcentaje era s\u00f3lo del 27% de los CEO. Aunque la confianza global ha aumentado, existen grandes diferencias entre sectores, lo que refleja el distinto grado en que el comportamiento de los consumidores se ha visto afectado por la pandemia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Los directores generales de los sectores de tecnolog\u00eda y telecomunicaciones son los que muestran mayor confianza, con un 45% y un 43% respectivamente. Por el contrario, los CEO de los sectores de transporte y log\u00edstica (29%) y hosteler\u00eda y ocio (27%) son los que menos creen que podr\u00e1n aumentar su facturaci\u00f3n en los pr\u00f3ximos doce meses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cuando se les pregunta por su gasto en transformaci\u00f3n digital, casi la mitad de los CEO (49%) prev\u00e9n un aumento del diez por ciento o m\u00e1s. Menos de la mitad de los CEO que tienen previsto gastar m\u00e1s en inversiones digitales tambi\u00e9n prev\u00e9n un aumento del gasto en ciberseguridad.
