When data is ingested, transformed and integrated into SAP Datasphere, SAP Datasphere Knowledge Graph automatically creates an ontology that represents the relationships in the data, including the inherent business context from sources such as S/4 Hana.

Then, the data in SAP Datasphere is automatically applied to this ontology to create a knowledge graph that allows the data to be processed as a semantic web of relationships, drawing new insights from connections that are otherwise difficult to comprehend. Knowledge graphs can give better context to large language models (LLMs) and prevent AI-generated hallucinations. 

There is now a Collibra AI Governance integration with SAP solutions. The partnership between SAP and Collibra enables end-to-end data governance and makes trusted data available to all users in the Business Data Fabric.

This expansion of the partnership will increase transparency and accountability and help to ensure that legal regulations, compliance and data protection guidelines are adhered to. Most importantly, it will increase user trust by preventing biased decisions, inaccurate recommendations and other risks posed by AI.
