Red Hat introduces new version of OpenShift 4.15
Based on Kubernetes 1.28 and CRI-O 1.28, this version offers various enhancements around the core platform, edge applications and virtualization. Red Hat OpenShift 4.15 is now also available for AWS Outposts and AWS Wavelength Zones.
New features can also accelerate the development and deployment of modern applications in the hybrid cloud. Administrators can use it to install Red Hat OpenShift Clusters on AWS Outposts to run latency-sensitive applications on AWS-managed infrastructure on-premises, for example.
With Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization, companies can modernize their virtualized infrastructure and use virtual machines together with cloud-native applications. The new version offers additional resilience and disaster recovery functions.
