Process Mining and Process Intelligence
This is the sixth time in a row that Celonis has been included in the ranking and is being recognized for its AI-supported process intelligence (PI) platform. "We are not only in the age of AI, but also in the age of efficiency. Process intelligence is crucial for companies to get the most out of their business processes and technology investments, especially AI.
There is no AI for business without PI," says Alexander Rinke, co-CEO and co-founder of Celonis. Last fall, Celonis introduced the Process Intelligence Graph (PI Graph), the heart of the company's process intelligence platform. Using a process mining technique, the PI Graph creates a system-independent digital twin of the company that maps the individual business context and defines what is "good" or "bad" for the business.
It illustrates how the company works and how its processes can be improved. The PI Graph from Celonis provides precisely this context in the form of a semantic layer that lies over the data and gives it meaning. It takes into account both the current state and the desired target state. By understanding the delta between these states and providing context, the PI Graph is an important enabler for technologies such as automation and enterprise AI.
Celonis' extensible data model enables third parties to contribute to this context layer and create a kind of Wikipedia of process intelligence. This context provides process knowledge to an organization's AI tools, including agents, copilots and applications.
