EU General Data Protection Regulation

The EU General Data Protection Regulation once again highlights the need for companies to take precautions in order to be able to adequately protect their customers' data in the future.

But how can companies best implement the new guidelines from an IT perspective? What are the options?

Anonymization, pseudonymization and data blocking are exemplary buzzwords that are heard very often in this context.
