Ceyoniq appoints new product manager
Michele Barbato is the new product manager of the Bielefeld-based software company Ceyoniq Technology with immediate effect.
In his function he is responsible for the expansion and further development of the product portfolio around the information platform NScale.
"I am fascinated by the diversity of the new challenge, because I am the link between strategy and operational business. My tasks are therefore sometimes strategic, sometimes technical and sometimes sales-oriented.
says the new product manager.
Barbato has been involved with topics and products from the enterprise content management environment since 1994, when digitization was still in an early development phase. For several years, the Münster native worked for various companies in the industry.
"In order to achieve our growth targets, we expanded our competencies last year to include consulting in SAP and information security"
says Oliver Kreth, Managing Director of Ceyoniq Technology.
"Accordingly, we will increasingly address this area in particular with appropriate solutions in the future."
Barbato is to establish the expanded product portfolio in the market and drive it forward with all the necessary processes and structures. The 46-year-old is particularly enthusiastic about the flexibility and functional diversity of the NScale information platform:

Georg Krause heads Plaut Austria
With Georg Krause, an experienced manager in the field of management consulting and IT takes over the management of Plaut.
Krause will be a member of the Management Board of Plaut AG and, together with Raimund Binder, will also be responsible for the management of Plaut Consulting Austria, which is part of the MSG group of companies.
Binder is also Managing Director of MSG Austria. With the new appointment, important steps are being taken for the expansion of consulting and SAP business. Plaut has been a successful partner in Austria in questions of process design and IT since the beginning of the 1990s and is appreciated by customers.
Plaut combines business consulting and solution-oriented IT implementation and is considered one of SAP's most experienced partners. Digitization and the introduction of S/4 Hana will open up opportunities for companies in the coming years to build new business models and establish IT as the digital core for business in real time.
As a member of the Executive Board of SAP Austria from 2012 to 2015, Krause played a key role in the strategic realignment of the consulting business and made a significant contribution to sustainable revenue growth. Prior to that, he was a partner at Deloitte Consulting.
Most recently, as Managing Partner of Public Interest Consultants, he was responsible, among other things, for the IT topics of Internetoffensive Österreich. Since 2015, Krause has also been responsible for the conception, development and academic management of the "IT Governance and Strategy" course at Danube University Krems.
UnitCon founder on Arithnea management board
Benedikt Bonnmann has joined Arithnea's Management Board with immediate effect.
There, he supports the extended management team of the digital business specialist in the strategic management of the company.
The background to the personnel move is the organizational integration of the Darmstadt-based SAP consulting firm UnitCon, which strengthens Arithnea in the areas of SAP Customer Engagement, Business Analytics and Hana. In the course of this integration, Bonnmann, founder and Managing Director of UnitCon, will take on numerous management tasks at Arithnea.
As a member of the Management Board, Bonnmann is responsible for the strategic management of the company together with his management colleagues.
Austrian Computer Society with new leadership
Wilfried Seyruck, Managing Director of the Linz-based IT systems house Programmierfabrik, has been elected President of the Austrian Computer Society (OCG). He succeeds Markus Klemen, Managing Director of SBA Research.
At the general meeting at the end of April, a new eight-member presidium was elected. Seyruck sees the OCG's role as an "ICT platform" and "think tank" in Austria for all information and communications technology topics.
The OCG currently has around 1400 members from science, business and society.
"I very much welcome this initiative and OCG's strong commitment to digital education - this is a path that we will of course continue to pursue with all our might."
Seyruck stated at the general meeting.
NTT Data Germany with new managing director
Ralf Malter is the new Managing Director of NTT Data Germany.
He is responsible for the development of the Digital Business Solutions (DBS) business unit, one of the largest at NTT DATA.
Malter complements the management team around CEO Swen Rehders as well as Ilka Friese (Chief Financial Officer), Dieter Loewe (Managing Director, Head of Financial & Public Services) and Jens-Uwe Holz (Managing Director, Head of Automotive & Manufacturing).
Malter has headed the Digital Business Solutions segment since 2016. In this segment, the company bundles its technological competencies across industries.
The business unit also focuses on innovation topics such as DevOps, omnichannel, cloud solutions and Internet of Things.
Tecops becomes Allgeier Experts Pro
IT staffing services provider Tecops is reorganizing: With immediate effect, the company will be renamed Allgeier Experts Pro GmbH, headquartered in Munich.
Allgeier Experts Pro is headed by Managing Directors Markus Ley, who is also a member of the Board of Allgeier Experts SE, and Christiane Schäfter, who has been with the company since 1997.
Allgeier Experts offers comprehensive personnel and project services for the IT and engineering sectors in its four business units Contracting, Temp, Perm and Managed Services.
Carbon Black, a provider of next-generation endpoint security, appoints sales expert Volker Sommer to head its sales activities in the German-speaking market. Sommer will be responsible as Regional Director DACH at Carbon Black.
Thorsten Herrmann is taking over the key account business at Microsoft Germany. He comes from Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). At HPE, he was Vice-President for the last three years, responsible for the worldwide business relations between HP (later HPE) and SAP.
Thomas Studer is the new Sales Director at open source provider RedHat Switzerland. He joined RedHat in 2016 from Oracle, where he was most recently Sales Director. He takes over the position from Roland Weber, who moved to ISS Facility Services Switzerland.
Customer intelligence provider Webtrekk has appointed Wolf Lichtenstein, long-time head of SAS Germany and McKinsey partner, as its new CEO. In this role, he succeeds founder Christian Sauer, who will now be responsible for global business development on the company's advisory board.
Concur founder Steve Singh will be the new CEO of open source provider Docker. Singh was head of business networks and applications at SAP until April, and in that role was also a member of the Executive Board. He takes over the position from Ben Golub, who resigned.
Lancom Systems, a manufacturer of network solutions, has made a new appointment to its distribution marketing team. Since May 1, Guido Peters has been responsible for marketing support for distributors. The 43-year-old comes from the network manufacturer Zyxel. He succeeds Paul Moll, who left the company at his own request.
