Automation tools from Empirius

The new release 9.4 of the automation tool for generating SAP system copies - BlueSystemCopy (BSC) from the BlueCopy Suite, which is widely used in the SAP community, will be on display.

The new BSC version has been enhanced in particular for optimized use in system copy creation under SAP Hana or Hana-based application systems. One new feature, for example, is support for Hana MCOD scale-out installations for SAP system copying.

MCOD stands for Multiple Components in One Database. SAP users will also have the opportunity to learn about the use of BlueSystemCopy in combination with Delphix at the Empirius-DSAG exhibition booth.

Delphix has made a name for itself in the market by creating and using virtual databases without additional hardware. Through the BSC-Delphix integration, test environments including the creation of SAP system copies can be realized very quickly and cost-effectively.

There is also a new development status for data anonymization with BlueSystemCopy. This is the result of a partnership with SAP partner Natuvion.

Insights beyond BlueSystemCopy version 9.4 are also provided by Empirius, for example in terms of authorization concepts, or the possibility of performing kernel updates within an SAP system copy.

Empirius will also present further automation solutions from the BlueCopy Suite. For example, BlueClone, with which sandboxes can be created quickly - in hours instead of days - easily and effectively.
