Agility

In turbulent times, flexibility and agility ensure survival. Professor Ayelt Komus from Koblenz University of Applied Sciences is currently conducting the international study "Status Quo (Scaled) Agile".
All persons involved in agile, hybrid or classic PM methods are called upon to participate: www.status-quo-agile.de Special focus is on the questions:
- What does the practice of agile and hybrid methods look like?
- How successful are agile, hybrid methods?
- How is the collaboration of multiple teams organized in an agile way? (agile scaling)
- What factors make the work successful?
The demand for answers to such questions from SAP partners for digitization is not flattening out. The providers see the integration of digital solutions in back-end IT, agile application developments and cloud implementations in particular as drivers of development.
These are the latest findings of the 2019 Lünendonk study "The Market for IT Consulting and IT Service in Germany". The analysis highlights market structure, trends and developments from the perspective of leading IT service providers and large user companies and is now available free of charge at www.luenendonk.de available.
SAP's existing customers are also particularly keen to increase their IT-related spending on IT architecture, application development and implementation, and further development and modernization.
However, as was also evident at the DSAG Annual Congress that took place in Nuremberg: Many existing SAP customers lack confidence in products and roadmaps.
Overall, Lünendonk study participants are primarily concerned with the three topics of modern business applications, greater automation of specialist processes, and the modernization of IT as a solid foundation for digital processes and business models.
For example, 64 percent of the IT decision-makers surveyed report that they will continue to focus investment on the rollout of new software applications.
