For version 10.1, the new MobileX SAP Add-on for S/4 is once on the roadmap from the end of February 2022. In the mobile app MobileX-
As of Release 10, CrossMIP technicians can create new messages and add and edit texts, images and forms to record unplanned maintenance or fault clearance on site. In addition, the app now offers an image editor to edit captured images and make marks on them, for example.
In addition to images, any documents can be added to the process. For object lists, technicians can also set the processing status and enter and view forms. The release offers further facilitations for keeping track of working times. For example, technicians can now create and edit breaks, and an automatic consistency check controls time recording.
The second version of CrossForms, the module for individual, dynamic forms, offers several innovations in the creation and use. The WebIDE has been revised to make the development of forms even more user-friendly. This includes, for example, easier integration of company icons and a preview for different display sizes. For form development, there is now the option to determine whether a form is mandatory or optional and whether multiple forms can be entered.
A PDF preview now allows the technician to view the PDF while capturing the form. The CrossForms also support barcode scanners for direct capture in the forms. In addition, custom forms can now be integrated with notifications and object lists. The MIP for Field Service mobile solution for Windows laptops supports Windows 11 starting with Release 10.
As of Release 10.1, which is planned for the end of February 2022, the SAP Add-on for S/4 will be available to customers for direct integration of CrossMIP and Dispatch in S/4 on-premises. This allows companies to leverage both their service and maintenance processes to S/4 Service and S/4 EAM with one add-on and without an additional C/4 cloud connection. The add-on can be configured for use with little effort and offers numerous interfaces for making individual extensions and adjustments.
