CIOs, CTOs and, above all, Chief Technology Officers don't always have it easy at SAP. The turnover is high and the rewards are few. What is going wrong here?
The DSAG Annual Congress 2024 highlighted the necessity for an efficient SAP Basis team during and after an SAP RISE project. During a RISE conversion, numerous tasks are transferred to SAP, necessitating the presence of a controlling Basis team to oversee the process.

The Chinese Cultural Revolution resulted in both significant achievements and the irreparable loss of numerous resources. SAP’s work culture is now undergoing a similar period of reform.
SAP CEO Christian Klein is a dedicated and hard-working executive. Following the departure of three members of the SAP Executive Board, he has been required to assume responsibility for a number of additional tasks. Klein is adept at multitasking and consistently maintains a high level of productivity. However, the ERP company is lacking in innovation.

Working on the SAP basis is crucial for successful S/4 conversion. 

This gives the Competence Center strategic importance for existing SAP customers. Regardless of the S/4 Hana operating model, topics such as Automation, Monitoring, Security, Application Lifecycle Management and Data Management the basis for S/4 operations.

For the second time, E3 magazine is organizing a summit for the SAP community in Salzburg to provide comprehensive information on all aspects of S/4 Hana groundwork.
