In order to promptly replace outdated IT infrastructure and financial accounting with a modern one, Butzkies Stahlbau opted for SAP. The new system was planned and implemented by the ERP specialists of the Kiel-based Vater Group. Instead of investing in new hardware, the medium-sized company opted for a cloud-based solution in the Vater Business Cloud.

Thanks to an add-on module that is to be available in the database giant's portfolio in the first half of 2014, Oracle users will then also have the option of significantly accelerating their applications by using in-memory technology with Oracle databases.
