ChargeX new partner of SAP
After several months of migrating the existing and installed charging points of more than 700 corporate customers with over 5,000 charging points, all charging points are now connected to the SAP e-mobility backend.
The first step for the migration was already taken in 2022, when the Aqueduct charging system was certified by SAP for the SAP e-mobility backend. This hardware-software certification ensures smooth communication and functionality between the charging point and the backend. Communication and data exchange now take place entirely with and via the SAP e-mobility backend.
The Drop Power Sharing dashboard and the app, connected via the open SAP e-mobility platform architecture, will remain the user interface for the end customer. This means that the established functionalities for billing and the concept of demand-based charging management remain unchanged.
