Consolidate and harmonize

The astronaut will only succeed in venturing into new worlds if the base at home is solid and also prepared for surprises. For SAP's existing customers, there is no doubt: the digital transformation must be executed.
But new business processes, new perspectives, new markets will not come for free. Consolidating and harmonizing a decades-old "data treasure trove" is only the beginning of a digital transformation. Business processes need to be questioned and reviewed. Abap modifications must be evaluated. The entire Z namespace needs to be cleaned up.
No theoretical brownfield or greenfield approaches or a mixture of all of them will help here, because one does not want to or cannot decide. Only one's own competence helps here.
That's why the DSAG Annual Congress is one of the most important events in the SAP community: Here you can expand your own knowledge and share your experience with colleagues and experts.
The DSAG annual congress is not an SAP marketplace where you are promised a bright and prosperous future. At a Sapphire in faraway Orlando, the existing SAP customer hears what is and will be possible. It is the forms of possibility with which SAP executives try to fascinate. Those who are far away from the SAP base may also believe these promises.
Naturally, "action" is the order of the day at the DSAG Annual Congress in Nuremberg, but on the basis of decades of experience and solid fundamental knowledge. This knowledge now needs to be expanded in Nuremberg.
The megatrends of the coming years are predetermined by the well-known roadmaps. But there is still no guarantee that these trends can also be applied. In many cases, experience and knowledge are lacking.
Among other things, E-3 Magazine launches a comprehensive cloud series with the content "SAP on Azure", including the double interview with Hinrich Mielke, SAP Director at Devoteam/Alegri and DSAG speaker, and Marcus Sommer, Microsoft. The SAP executive interview with DSAG keynote speaker Christian Klein is also part of the E-3 educational work and brings clarity to the current trends.
The existing roadmaps must now be filled with life - or as the DSAG user association says: Action! The task is to evaluate, consolidate and harmonize so that the digital transformation of SAP's existing customers succeeds.
