Datasphere and Joule: SAP in the age of AI
New functions in the SAP Datasphere solution, including generative AI, make it possible to optimize corporate planning by simplifying data landscapes and working intuitively with data.
"Capturing data technologically and using it to support decisions is becoming increasingly important. At the same time, AI, which relies on high-quality data, is revolutionizing all aspects of a company," said Jürgen Müller, Chief Technology Officer and member of the Executive Board of SAP.
With the innovations from SAP Datasphere, customers can simplify their data landscapes with an end-to-end view of their data. This allows them to adapt more quickly to market changes and make better decisions. There are also new AI assistants and functions for vector databases, which ensure that the business context is retained in the results of generative AI, and the new Knowledge Graph, which allows insights to be gained into complex data and patterns to be recognized.
Joule, the SAP assistant based on generative artificial intelligence, is now available in the SAP Analytics Cloud solution for the automated creation and development of reports, dashboards, plans and more. The functions of the Hana Cloud Vector Engine combine the power of large language models with the relevant data from companies and ensure that the business context is retained in the results of generative AI.
