Low-Code and Open Source
Mendix, a Siemens subsidiary and provider of modern enterprise application development, announces its collaboration with Red Hat, provider of open source solutions for the enterprise. As part of the collaboration, Mendix will combine its low-code platform with Red Hat OpenShift to enable organizations to drive digital transformation with greater confidence. Organizations already benefiting from this collaboration include the United States Department of Education, Proximus, Garantii BBVA and Isracard.
Red Hat and Mendix are also making it easier to deploy and manage Mendix applications across multiple cloud environments and on-premises infrastructure with Red Hat OpenShift, the hybrid cloud application platform based on Kubernetes. "We are excited that our collaboration with Red Hat will enable us to provide organizations with even more ways to achieve security-driven digital transformation with more confidence," said Frank Baalbergen, CISO, Mendix.
