No monthly SAP news should be disregarded. The Short Facts are dedicated to minor news as well as seemingly more or less important statements from the community. This is the place for SAP-specific press releases that otherwise tend to be overlooked. Recommendations to: robert.korec@b4bmedia.net

Tschira Foundation promotes inclusion

Bringing people with mental, physical or psychological disabilities and non-disabled people together in everyday life - that's what the Smile e. V. association in St. Leon-Rot is all about.

"To this end, we are involved in various areas of social life"

reports Ulrike Freiseis, Chairwoman of the association.

The aim of the campaigns is to break down prejudices and fears of contact and to create greater acceptance of people with disabilities in society. The association is now receiving support for its latest project from the Klaus Tschira Foundation (KTS).

The foundation is supporting the inclusive play "Includo" with costumes, props, instruments and promotional materials worth around 3,000 euros. "Young people with and without disabilities perform together on stage - a prime example of inclusion," says Beate Spiegel, Managing Director of KTS.
