SAP Switzerland appoints new sales manager
Jean-Philippe Maurrasse is now Head of Sales at SAP Switzerland and reports directly to Bernd Brandl, Managing Director for Switzerland. In his new role, Jean-Philippe Maurrasse is a member of the Executive Board of SAP Switzerland.
He succeeds Guido Schlief, who will remain in the region as Head of Global Services & Support MEE at SAP. Jean-Philippe Maurrasse has worked in sales and consulting for IT-related products and services for over 20 years and has held various management positions during this time.
As Senior Vice President Sales Worldwide, he was in charge of global sales at Vasco Data Security. After holding various management positions - including Head of Sales, Marketing and Communication EMEA at SunGard (now FIS) - Maurrasse was Senior Vice President EMEA Distribution from 2009 to 2013, where he was responsible for the sale of retail and risk management software.

Maurrasse has a degree in economics and completed an MBA in strategic planning at Strathclyde University in Glasgow. Maurrasse lives in Winkel and is married. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and is a keen cook and badminton player.
New Head of Germany at Fujitsu
Rolf Werner becomes the new Head of Central Europe at Fujitsu: In this position, he assumes responsibility for business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and joins the Fujitsu Technology Solutions Management Board.
Werner joins Fujitsu with immediate effect. The current heads of the Central Europe region, Rupert Lehner and Heiner Diefenbach, will take on other tasks within the Group in future: Rupert Lehner will be responsible for the Europe-wide management of the new Enterprise Platform Services division.
Heiner Diefenbach will continue to drive the expansion of the services business, particularly in the area of enterprise applications, in the Central Europe region. Werner brings with him extensive experience in sales for medium-sized and large companies as well as in the services environment, from international outsourcing projects to new digital solutions.
Before joining Fujitsu, Werner held various management positions at T-Systems for several years. Most recently, he joined the management team at T-Systems Multimedia Solutions at the end of 2013 and was responsible for the expansion of sales and the growth of the company both nationally and internationally.
Other positions included Head of Management at the French subsidiary T-Systems France SAS, responsibility for the Service division for the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa regions and Head of the German sales organization.
Ceyoniq Managing Director with SAP responsibility
Oliver Kreth is the new Managing Director of Ceyoniq Technology. In future, he will manage the company together with Andreas Ahmann and Hartmut Stein. Kreth also joins the management of the other companies in the Ceyoniq Group.
The previous Managing Director André Ferlings left Ceyoniq Technology at the end of 2015 at his own request. Kreth was most recently General Manager European Marketing at Kyocera Document Solutions Europe and previously headed up marketing at the German subsidiary for eight years.
Oliver Kreth will also join the management board of Ceyoniq Consulting GmbH, which specializes in SAP consulting and IT security and previously consisted of Carsten Maßloff and Hartmut Stein.
Management change at Fujitsu Austria
Wilhelm Petersmann takes over the management of Fujitsu in Austria. He has been Managing Director of Fujitsu Technology Solutions Switzerland and Vice President at Fujitsu since 2012. Before joining Fujitsu, Petersmann was Managing Director at business intelligence specialist SAS for five years.
Previous positions include the technology company CSC and SAP Switzerland. There he was Director Professional Services, Support, Customer Care and a member of the Executive Board. He will take over the management of Fujitsu Technology Solutions Austria in addition to his role in Switzerland.
The previous Managing Director of Fujitsu in Austria, Johannes Baumgartner-Foisner, is leaving the company at his own request.
Tschira's research institute under new management
Gesa Schönberger has been the new Managing Director of the Heidelberg Institute for Theoretical Studies since January 1. The private, non-profit research institute was established in 2010 by SAP co-founder Klaus Tschira and the Klaus Tschira Foundation.
Schönberger will succeed Prof. Andreas Reuter, who will continue to head the research institute until the end of March. Schönberger, who holds a doctorate in ecotrophology, was previously Managing Director and Scientific Director of the Dr. Rainer Wild Foundation in Heidelberg for many years.
She is active in numerous association committees and will in future concentrate on managing HITS and the HITS administration. She will retain her membership of the board of the Association of German Foundations.
Tina Tichy heads the SAP business unit at Axians ICT
Tina Tichy has assumed overall responsibility for the SAP business unit at Axians ICT Austria. In her new role, she will focus on supporting customers in the implementation of their IT strategy.
In addition, she will further expand the company's role as the first point of contact for new topics such as S/4 and SAP cloud strategy. Tichy will continue to develop the SAP Consultants into Reliable Compliant Business (RCB) Consultants in line with the Group principle "only joint successes are true successes".
She has more than 17 years of professional experience in the SAP and IT environment. Most recently, she was head of the "SAP Accounting" division at Axians ICT Austria.
At the turn of the year, the IT consultancy MHP further expanded its two top management levels. Four Associated Partners were promoted to Partner: Peter Caracciolo, Mirko Rajs, Christian Stapel and Jürgen Weber. Ten new Associated Partners were also appointed.
In February, Membrain opened a new office in Berlin. The office and area manager for the new federal states is Philipp Rennefeld. The communications engineer has many years of ICT experience. Serhan Berikol is also new to the team as Regional Sales Manager for Bavaria.
Prevero, software provider for business intelligence and corporate performance management, has made an addition to its management team. Stephan Kraus has recently been appointed Vice President for the Energy Supply and Telecommunications Central Europe divisions.
Manfred Baumgartner represents Austria on the ASQF Executive Committee. The largest expert network for software quality in the DACH region has elected a new management team with representatives from business and science. One of them is Manfred Baumgartner, a native of Vorarlberg, from the software company Anecon.
Citrix is gaining reinforcements in the areas of networking and channel. Since the beginning of January, Marcus Feuerstein has been responsible for networking issues at Citrix in Central and Eastern Europe as Director Networking Sales. Director Channel Torben Sebens is responsible for the partner business in both regions.
Denis Cashman is to become the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of EMC. He has worked in the company's finance department for 28 years. As of March 1, he will be responsible for all internal and external financial matters of EMC. He succeeds Zane Rowe, who is moving to Vmware as CFO.
