Study: AI best from the cloud

According to a new study by market research firm PAC, companies are primarily looking to increase the level of automation and reduce the human error rate with AI integration.

73 percent of respondents expect AI to enable business processes to be completed faster, and 72 percent hope for more and better recommendations for action.

For 82 percent, the biggest difficulties in using AI in the context of enterprise applications are legal and compliance concerns.

When it comes to implementing AI in the context of enterprise applications, 92 percent of respondents named cloud application providers as their preferred partner. Only 28 percent made the same statement for on-premise software vendors.

And while an enterprise application provider must be able to implement AI, it is also expected to provide appropriate use cases.
