SAP-Solution: Hana

Are you in the process of converting to S/4 Hana? Then you are probably familiar with the licensing difficulties that accompany such a change. Software Asset Management (SAM) can help lead the project to success.
All too often, SAP customers migrate far too much data to S/4, and in poor quality, losing its business context in the process. This turns a treasure trove of data into a risk for the data-driven enterprise of the future.
Many SAP customers shy away from the SAP S/4 Hana transformation because of the supposedly necessary preliminary projects. However, with the right approach to app lifecycle, data, and system management, these preliminary projects can prove to be redundant.
Clustering, i.e. finding similarities, can often provide to be very enlightening for large amounts of data. The trick is based on the Euclidean distance formula and can be done without Hana as a simple mental calculation.
In October, with an outlook to 2024, the question is: can SAP still be trusted? What was once an innovator for standard business software has now become hesitant, lagging behind.
When hosting S/4 systems in the cloud, the service level of the provider is what counts. With FIS-ASP, the Dehner group of companies reaches a new level. Dehner has opted for Microsoft Azure operation to achieve its goals quickly and efficiently.
SAP's customers are caught between the conflicting priorities of migration and innovation, necessary changes which are associated with a wide range of strategic, technical, and business challenges. The key is that it's all about building an intelligent enterprise.
SAP CEO Christian Klein has done a great thing: the pre-programmed crash has been prevented. But where do we go from here? No one at SAP knows.
Where there is no certification, there is no support. SAP has ended their certification service for "Hosting Operations" and "Cloud and Infrastructure Operations". SAP partners do not yet have answers for customers.
The SAP deadline of 2027 applies to most applications and existing customers. They are actively driving the necessary migrations. However, innovation is often neglected during the transformation. But this does not have to be the case.
SAP CEO Christian Klein wants to focus on ERP, the core strength of the ERP world market leader. This focus is honorable, but of little help to SAP's customers. The B2B world is more than just ERP.
An ERP system is a fragile entity that needs a stable platform and excellent informatics to deliver the value users are looking for. SAP S/4 can be a huge boost to innovation if everyone knows what to do.

Working on the SAP basis is crucial for successful S/4 conversion.

This gives the Competence Center strategic importance for existing SAP customers. Regardless of the S/4 Hana operating model, topics such as Automation, Monitoring, Security, Application Lifecycle Management and Data Management the basis for S/4 operations.

For the second time, E3 magazine is organizing a summit for the SAP community in Salzburg to provide comprehensive information on all aspects of S/4 Hana groundwork.
