LogiMAT 2019: February 19-21 - Intralogistics at first hand

LogiMAT, the International Trade Fair for Intralogistics Solutions and Process Management, will be held at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre from February 19 to 21, 2019.
Visitors from all over the world come here to find out about innovative products, solutions and systems for optimizing their own in-house logistics processes.
In addition to topics such as Industry 4.0, the Internet of Things and digitization, the challenges surrounding the topic of "communication between man and machine" and the continuing growth of online and omnichannel commerce will also be addressed.
This is also reflected in the motto of LogiMAT 2019 "Intralogistics at first hand: Intelligent - Efficient - Innovative".
LogiMAT not only provides a complete industry overview, but also offers numerous lecture series and live events on a wide variety of topics.
These range from "AutoID as an enabler of digital transformation" to "Step by step into Industry 4.0" and "Using production data for artificial intelligence".
In the latter, for example, a practical example is used to show how an existing heterogeneous technology landscape is gradually qualified to meet the requirements of modern Industrie 4.0 production control and how the transformation process is actively shaped.
Developments in the retail world are rapid. One of the biggest challenges here is the end-to-end digitization and optimization of all processes and interfaces. TradeWorld, which is firmly integrated into LogiMAT as a competence platform, offers guidance here.
It highlights the synergies between retail and logistics processes and explains ways to optimize e-commerce and omnichannel logistics. In addition to the exclusive trade exhibition, specialist presentations on digital commerce will be held on all three days.
The digital association Bitkom, for example, shows how digital technologies provide more transparency in retail logistics. The Scientific Institute of Retailing (EHI Retail Institute, Cologne) is devoting another series of lectures to the automation and introduction of robots in retail logistics.
Many retailers are thinking about integrating these technical assistants into their process flows. Visitors will learn here from experts at first hand what experiences have been made so far with the introduction of such technological and process innovations.
