Intelligent cloud systems in particular are an important success factor for digitization and are therefore also the focus for AES. As a certified Lighthouse Partner, the company is a specialist for the public cloud solution of the ERP suite S/4 Hana from SAP and is allowed to sell this product nationwide as well as implement it at customers.

IoT Store

In addition to an exhibition booth, AES will also use two action areas. On the one hand, the Allgeier experts will use a miniature virtual IoT store to present the benefits of the Internet of Things in retail.

"The store model is based on Hana and networks items as well as users with each other in real time in the retail store. Among other things, shoppers in the store receive individualized product or discount information on demand via their smartphone and can request a customer service representative."

Harald Ruso, Director Sales Retail at Allgeier, explains how it works.

In addition, intelligent shelves monitor the inventory and temperature sensors monitor the refrigeration units in the store. Additional sensors can be used to create customer movement profiles, which can be used to adjust product placement and store layout.

On the other hand, AES shows how companies can organize everyday work processes more efficiently. On the easy-to-use modeling table Metasonic Touch, users move the individual, tangible modeling blocks on the table surface and thus directly create workflows. These are seamlessly integrated into the Metasonic Suite and can be executed immediately as a web application.

Furthermore, Allgeier experts will provide information on current topics in the context of specialist presentations. Stefan Gerum and Maximilian Johannes will speak on the topic of "Fresh, Dash and Fashion: S/4 Hana and SAP Leonardo as an answer to the attack of the online giants".
