E-commerce integration for SAP users

Store operators and SAP users who want to create a consistent and fully integrated online shopping experience will no longer be able to avoid integrating all the applications involved. In addition to the ERP system, this includes SAP Hybris, SAP Hybris Marketing, SAP CPQ and SAP CRM as on-premise or cloud versions.
The integration, known as SAP Customer Engagement & Commerce (CEC), enables a cross-channel market approach with holistic omnichannel management of customer relationships.
Poet's approach, which differs from conventional project methods, is already reflected in the fact that agile methods are used instead of the waterfall model, leading to significantly faster prototyping.
"Instead of holding endless PowerPoint battles, we first take a very pragmatic approach to the customer requirements in a workshop, then carry out a company-specific GAP analysis to determine the necessary measures, including prioritization, and are then already in the process of developing the prototype"
explains Martin Schröder, Head of SAP Consulting at Poet.
In addition, extensive best practices with a cost-saving effect are used. Accelerator technology for omnichannel strategies also plays a major role on the path to faster implementation.
It has all the functions and business tools needed to create a great customer experience. In addition, similar to the Lego method, building blocks are used to implement the integration solution step by step in a way that is comprehensible for the customer.
"By having a precise insight at all times and experiencing the process first-hand, they can actively support the development of the solution. This avoids the problems of understanding that often arise in otherwise abstract coordination processes and increase the workload as a result"
Schröder emphasizes the benefits for the implementation projects.
