Majority stake acquired

Orbis has acquired a majority stake of 60 percent in Blue Stec, an industry-independent management consultancy.

Orbis has been working with Blue Stec successfully and in a spirit of trust since 2017 as part of a strategic partnership in the area of Hana Basis support. The majority shareholding is a strategically important step towards bundling SAP expertise and expanding its own range of services in the areas of SAP technology (SAP Basis and S/4 migration) and SAP security. This enables the Saarbrücken-based IT service provider to offer its customers the entire SAP operation (managed services) from a single source. At the same time, it is completing its portfolio with regard to S/4 conversion, the full-service offering Rise with SAP for digital business transformation and managed cloud services. "By acquiring a majority stake in Blue Stec, we are adding a strategic area to our portfolio. We can now offer our customers a comprehensive service in relation to the operation of their SAP infrastructure.
