BTC takes over network portal solution

The IT company BTC announces the acquisition of the network portal solution from the Würzburg-based software manufacturer Simplifier.

The solution is based on the low-code platform of the same name developed by Simplifier. The grid portal covers all relevant steps for an effective application process, from the connection application to commissioning, and also serves as an internal and external portal for communication with market partners. The acquisition further expands BTC's expertise and team strength in the field of digital asset management for the energy market. Simplifier, on the other hand, is concentrating exclusively on its core product and the associated licensing business, thus focusing the company's strategic orientation on low-code technology expertise.

As its first project, BTC is currently further developing its maintenance solutions - from the architecture and implementation with master data management, maintenance management and scheduling through to mobile processing and a key figure cockpit.
