Expert management determined by working group

Dr. Bernd Reineke takes over the technical management of the "Production Control and Scheduling with SAP" working group, which is currently being established and is part of the AWF (Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Wirtschaftliche Fertigung). The aim of this working group is to enable its members to network and automate administrative production and logistics processes to a large extent using SAP transactions. It offers its members the opportunity to discuss production control, scheduling and procurement strategies with colleagues from other companies and to exchange SAP application experiences in detail. In addition, tips and tricks for using SAP are discussed using the practical example of the host company, the actual possibilities of the system are illuminated by live connections to the system and SAP use is thus continuously optimized.

"Qualified planners and dispatchers are hard to find and yet the automation options in SAP are not used everywhere. Instead, many companies either get bogged down in complicated configurations or work very manually, which has a lasting impact on productivity"explains the moderator and coach of the new working group, Dr. Bernd Reineke. "Especially in challenging times with supply chains that can hardly be scheduled, a good understanding of the interrelationships and methods of production control and scheduling is essential in order to coordinate with confidence."
