What does the cloud cost?
What does it cost to obtain computing power and storage from the cloud? And which is the cheapest provider? The market leaders Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud in particular make daily comparisons difficult due to their pricing models.
The latest version of the online cost calculator from Microfin, a management consultancy specializing in outsourcing and cloud sourcing, not only provides the prices of all three hyperscalers at the click of a button. For the first time, the costs can also be calculated by economic region (Germany, EU, North America, Asia-Pacific), providing internationally active companies with an even more precise overview.
The prices are updated daily and can be specified precisely for the requirements for compute instances (computing cores, memory and usage time) and storage (storage type and space). The calculation can be made in either euros or US dollars. The cost calculator is free of charge and freely accessible.
