Ariba for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses

Until now, SAP-Ariba procurement solutions have been affordable only to large companies and corporate groups. As part of an initiative for small and medium-sized businesses, SAP and Apsolut—a consulting firm specializing in procurement processes—are launching a specially tailored and packaged SAP-Ariba solution for upper-mid-market companies. This preconfigured product utilizes specific core functions from the full cloud-based version of Ariba. Consequently, the licensing and pricing are tailored to the needs of user companies. This provides best-practice workflows, functions, and form templates that enable procure-to-pay processes to be handled efficiently and quickly with suppliers. This accelerates procurement processes and reduces expenses caused, among other things, by paper-based invoices. The target audience consists of companies with an annual procurement volume of approximately 50 million euros or more. The solution’s key advantage lies in its short implementation time of just a few weeks and manageable project costs.
