Study on the future use of S/4

Around 60 percent of those who are considering switching to S/4 in the near future already have a roadmap for its introduction. They have very specific objectives and steps in mind, including the IT infrastructure changes required for the use of S/4.
These are the results of a study by analyst firm Techconsult on the future use of S/4 in German companies with 500 employees or more. Within the company sizes, it is primarily companies with 500 to 1000 employees that have defined milestones.
"The study shows how innovation-friendly German SMEs are. Together with our partners, we at HPE will offer solutions that make this change in the SAP world simple, fast and secure"
says Hubert Schulz, Lead SAP Alliance Business Manager Germany at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE).
The results indicate that the industries that have dealt intensively with S/4 are those that can profitably utilize the advantages of fast database operations for their business processes.
This primarily applies to companies in the retail, services and industrial sectors. Other drivers and benefits are seen in better performance, reduced operating costs and a more user-friendly interface.
