Mr. Abolhassan, you have a new outsourcing offer for SAP services from the cloud for your customers. What is special about it?
Ferri Abolhassan: We are breaking with traditional rules. In outsourcing, long-term contractual commitments have been the order of the day until now. Customers are bound to their provider even if the quality of service is unsatisfactory.
This prevents many CIOs from outsourcing their IT. We are now putting an end to this: With our "Un-outsourcer" offer, we provide our customers with outsourcing without risk - with contractual flexibility, special termination rights and maximum quality. This is a completely new approach that has never been seen before in our industry.
Which SAP services does the offer apply to?
Abolhassan: As a first step, our Un-Outsourcer offer applies to Dynamic Services for SAP Solutions and Dynamic Services for Hana. With these solutions, we have been offering companies the flexible and secure operation of these SAP systems from the cloud for years.
They can adapt their SAP resources to their needs in an agile manner and reduce their operating costs by up to 30 percent without having to compromise on performance. This is because our customers pay for their SAP cloud services on demand.
And if they are not satisfied, can they cancel at any time?
Abolhassan: That's how it is! Because we are convinced of the quality of our solutions and want satisfied customers. That's why we grant new customers a special right of termination: depending on the size of their SAP environment, they can terminate after a three- to six-month hypercare phase without giving reasons if they are not satisfied with the SAP transformation to our cloud.
We call this "Run-on-Satisfaction". Existing customers who migrate to our current Dynamic SAP platform will probably receive a similar offer this year with "Quit anytime". If the customer is dissatisfied, they can cancel at any time without giving a reason.
But isn't there a risk that customers will quickly drop out again?
Abolhassan: We can offer these flexible contracts because we firmly believe in our service quality. We measure the quality of our services relating to Dynamic Services for SAP Solutions and Hana not only by the service level agreements, but also by their actual success.
We rely on our more than ten years of transformation experience, our comprehensive technology and industry expertise and our unique Zero Outage quality program.

What role do dynamic SAP solutions play in your product portfolio?
Abolhassan: They play a very important role: we are the world's largest operator of SAP services from the private cloud - with over 50 million SAPS and around 2.6 million users.
What's more, you will be hard pressed to find another software-as-a-service provider that can provide SAP, Microsoft and Salesforce infrastructure and applications from a private cloud from a single source. We can do this - with one of Europe's most secure data centers in Biere near Magdeburg, which we will soon be expanding significantly.
All with German data protection on top. All in all, another reason why Microsoft trusts us as a data trustee for its cloud solutions such as Office 365 and Azure.
Will your competitors also offer flexible outsourcing contracts in the future?
Abolhassan: You can only make such an offer if you are absolutely convinced of your quality. We have been working with an entire ecosystem of technology partners in SAP outsourcing for over ten years, which we are constantly expanding - always with a clear understanding of what our customers need.
And the idea that partnering can also be done more intelligently and differently than is customary in the industry. We combine this with our demand for maximum quality and security. You have to have this know-how first.
